Micha Jacobsen

Micha is the CEO and Founder of North Shore Executive Search, leading with a values‑driven, human‑centered approach shaped by her early work supporting adults with emotional and physical challenges.

She began her recruiting career in 2007, rising quickly to Partner before launching North Shore in 2022 to create a boutique firm grounded in integrity, partnership, and personalized leadership search.

With a Psychology degree from Michigan State University, she blends insight and empathy to guide clients and candidates through pivotal career decisions.

Outside of the office, Micha enjoys an active, healthy lifestyle centered around fitness, reading, and spending quality time with her family. She currently resides in Chicago and values balance, well‑being, and staying connected to the people and routines that keep her grounded.

Carolyn Robertson

Carolyn serves as a Partner at North Shore Executive Search, combining federal and commercial recruiting expertise with a people‑first leadership style to strengthen organizations with high‑performing, mission‑ready teams.

Known for her authentic relationships and strategic insight, she guides organizations through complex, high‑impact hiring with clarity and steadiness.

She holds a PRC certification and a Business Management degree from Michigan State University, grounding her people‑first leadership approach in communication, human behavior, and organizational dynamics.

Outside of the office, Carolyn resides in the Washington, DC area, where she enjoys staying active, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her family. She values balance, connection, and making space for the people and moments that matter most.
